Dr. Sharon Huang is a native New Yorker. She received her doctorate of dental surgery from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Sharon Huang is a native New Yorker. She received her doctorate of dental surgery from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Huang completed her residency at St. Barnabas Hospital, a level one trauma center in Bronx, New York. She then continued onto her post-graduate training at the James J. Peters Veterans Affairs Medical Center where she worked with medically compromised veterans with complex dental needs. Dr. Huang has extensive training in esthetic dentistry, dental implants, and in the use of dental biomaterials.
Dr. Huang is a recipient of several awards including the Award for Excellence in Cosmetic Dentistry from The Empire State Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Excellence in Prosthodontics from St. Barnabas Hospital, and honored with fellowship status from the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Dr. Huang is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General dentistry and New York State Dental Association. Dr. Huang has traveled on humanitarian missions providing care to communities without access to care in the Dominican Republic.
Dr. Huang believes dentistry is a science and an art, “if the eyes are the windows to the soul, then teeth are the locks to those windows. It’s my job to help keep them beautiful and bright.”
When Dr. Sharon is not in the dental office, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and loved ones.
