Dr. V. Popesco is currently treating inpatients with severe psychiatric disorders and substance abuse disorders at a prominent Manhattan Psychiatric Hospital. Dr.Popesco completed his medical school in Europe and residency in Psychiatry at Yale University and Mount Sinai Medical School affiliated programs. Dr. Popesco has a special training in Emergency Psychiatry, Adult and Geriatric Psychopharmacology as well as ETOH/ substance abuse disorders: extensive experience with adult attention deficit disorders and comorbidities. Dr. Popesco's outpatient practice is particularly focused on mood, anxiety disorder as well as ADD/ADHD conditions in which he has accumulated a vast, unmatched experience.
