About Dr. Susan Hecht

Dr. Susan Hecht is a diligent and caring cardiologist serving the community of New York, NY. Dr. Hecht attended the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, where she received her medical degree. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Staten Island Hospital and her fellowship in cardiology at Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Hecht is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Hecht specializes in general cardiology and echocardiography including stress echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography. She also has an interest in women’s cardiac care. She is an attending physician at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. During her consultations, Dr. Hecht fully explains patients’ conditions and helps them choose an appropriate treatment plan.
