About Dr. Sujan Patel

Sujan Patel is a compassionate and dedicated allergist/immunologist. Dr. Patel serves as an assistant professor of allergy and immunology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in Brooklyn and New York City. Dr. Patel is certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, the American Board of Internal Medicine, and the American Board of Pediatrics. He is a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology , the New York Allergy and Asthma Society, the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology and the Joint Council of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. Dr. Patel earned his medical education from the Medical University of Lublin, and he began his postdoctoral training at the Loyola University Medical Center with a residency in pediatrics and internal medicine. He then completed his training with an allergy and immunology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Patel’s clinical interests are in asthma, allergic rhinitis and conjunctivitis (“hay/rose fever”), sinusitis, nasal polyps, drug and food allergies, as well as allergic skin diseases, including contact dermatitis, acute and chronic urticaria , and atopic dermatitis (eczema).
