Dr. Mueller is Board Certified / a Diplomate in Venous Diseases, Cardiovascular Diseases, Internal Medicine, Echocardiography, Vascular Medicine, & Cholesterol disorders. He has published in many scientific journals & presented at numerous national & international conferences; he is on staff at New York Hospital & is an Assistant Profession of Medicine at Cornell Medical College. In addition to offering the full range of Cardiology services, our in-house Vein Center, Sutton Place Laser Vein Care, is one of the region's finest, offering Varicose Vein & Spider Vein treatments. We employ state of the art technique and technology, including Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA, EVLT), Ambulatory Phlebectomy, Sclerotherapy, and Clarivein. Dr. Mueller is a local expert on Clarivein, being the first in Manhattan to offer this service. Dr. Mueller is superbly qualified as a vein specialist by his international reputation in the vein community & by being one of only approximately 50 physicians worldwide elected to Fellowship of the American College of Phlebology, the premier Vein professional medical society. Dr. Mueller has numerous honors & awards, including being named one of the "Top Doctors - New York Metro Area" (Castle Connolly Guide Book) in every edition since the inaugural edition in 1997, "US News & World Report - Top Doctors" national listing annually since 2011, & being elected to 11 professional medical societies.
