Dr. Raffi Hovsepian, MD, FACS

About Dr. Raffi Hovsepian

Motivated by a family tragedy at the early age of 8, Dr. Hovsepian decided to become a plastic surgeon. In his own words, he chose to become a plastic surgeon because “plastic surgery lets me apply principles and techniques to give people a new start in life.” His perseverance and tenacity took him through his Bachelor in Science degree at the University of California, Irvine, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and led him to medical school at the prestigious Chicago Medical School. There Dr. Hovsepian earned his Doctor of Medicine degree and completed two Masters in Science, Pathology, and Physiology; graduating in the top 10% of his class. Prior to training in plastic surgery, Dr. Hovsepian completed his residency and was certified by the American Board of Surgery (ABS) in general surgery at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Las Vegas, where he graduated as the Chief Resident.
