About Dr. Parita Sahani
Dr. Parita Sahani has recently joined our practice in 2014. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University where she did her major in Biology and a minor in Physics. After that she pursued her Masters in Bio-medical Science and attended medical school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. During medical school she spent some time in Berkeley, California teaching exceptional high school students from across the nation about the disciplines of medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine-Jersey City Medical Center and received recognition for her exemplary performance in Natural Medicine. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, and has moderate proficiency in Spanish. Outside of work, Dr. Sahani enjoys spending time outdoors and leads an active lifestyle. She loves dancing and enjoys being part of a dance troop that raises money for various charities.
