Monika S. Bogal MD attended medical school at the State University of New York at Syracuse, where she was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society. She was an intern and resident in Internal Medicine at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. She completed a Cardiovascular disease fellowship at Mount Sinai, where she acquired experience in stress testing, echocardiography, and general clinical cardiology. Subsequently, she went on to subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology at Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center in New York. Dr. Bogal specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease and peripheral vascular disease. She also specializes in the treatment of valvular heart disease and heart disease in women. She treats patients with high cholesterol, hypertension, arrhythmias, congestive heart failure, and congenital heart disease. She has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals in the field of invasive cardiology. Dr. Bogal is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology.
