About Dr. Loretta Pouso
Dr. Loretta Pouso was born and raised in Queens, NY. She received her undergraduate Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Iona College in New Rochelle, she then attended NYU College of Dentistry. Dr. Pouso continued her studies by completing a year of general practice residency at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset NY. She studied advanced cosmetic and restorative dentistry at the prestigious Rosenthal Institute at NYU College of Dentistry for esthetic dentistry. The following year Dr. Pouso was invited to return as a clinical associate professor at the Rosenthal Institute. Dr. Pouso filmed an on camera testimonial for Biotene mouthwash, which can currently be seen on television and on the internet. Her dedication to the profession of dentistry is what separates her. She loves creating beautiful, healthy smiles. Dr. Pouso contributes her professional services to humanitarian efforts and organizations. She has traveled numerous times to the Dominican Republic to perform dental services for economically disadvantaged children and their families. Dr. Pouso enjoys spending her free time with her family and playing tennis
