About Dr. Llewellyn Hyacinthe

After completing his specialty training in Urology at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, Dr. Hyacinthe joined Dr. Bertoni in 1996. Dr. Hyacinthe has maintained his private clinical practice in the same Brooklyn location ever since. Dr. Hyacinthe received his Undergraduate Degree from Yale University, and his Medical Degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Hyacinthe has special interests and experience in minimally invasive surgical procedures including Robotic Prostatectomy, Laparoscopic Kidney Surgery, minimally invasive therapies for kidney stone disease, medical and surgical treatment for urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction, and comprehensive treatment for various prostate diseases including prostate cancer. In addition to his work at Accord Physicians (New York Urologic Institute), Dr. Hyacinthe has devoted a significant amount of his career to the education of Urology Residents. He is Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Urology and a Member of the Academic Executive Committee for the Department of Urology at SUNY Downstate Medical school. He is certified by the American Board of Urology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
