About Dr. Lawrence Spindel

Dr. Spindel Graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1980 with honors. He was elected into Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society for graduating at the top of his class. He also received the Long Island Academy of Odontology Award for Highest Scholastic Achievement and clinical proficiency during his years of professional studies. He completed a general practice residency at the Manhattan Veteran’s hospital in 1981 and started private dental practice in Manhattan. Since 1982 he has maintained a private dental practice in Manhattan specializing in comprehensive dental care, including Cosmetic, Implant and Preventive Dentistry. He has held teaching positions at both New York University College of Dentistry and Columbia University. Over the years he has participated in more than 27 clinical trials and has published a number papers in peer review journals. He has a long standing interest in Cosmetic Dentistry and in 1997 he was elected t o Fellowship into the International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics. He is currently listed in the guide to Americas Top Dentists.and is the top rated dentist in New York based on user recommendations on Yahoo Local. He has published his Ask Dr Spindel Dental Blog since 2005 and it was named one of the top 100 dental industry blogs by dentalassistingschool.org in 2009 and in 2010 was named as one of the top 50 dental blogs by mastersinpublichealth.net. In 2013 emergencydentistsusa.com included him in their list of the top ten dentists in the U.S.A in 2013. He joined the panel of dental experts on Allexperts.com in 2008 and he also participates in the first New York Chapter of the Spear Study Club and attends regularly scheduled meetings with other collegues similarly commited to providing comprehensive and excellent care to their dental patients. He remains committed to continuing education, exploring new innovations in the field on dentistry and providing his patients with his best dental care.
