About Dr. Joseph M. Pober

Joseph Michael Pober, MD, FACS is a summa cum laude graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Medical School. At Harvard University, he was specially distinguished by being chosen to simultaneously attend the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Graduate School. He then trained in both general surgery and plastic surgery at The New York Presbyterian Hospital of Columbia & Cornell Medical Centers. After serving as Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery at The New York Presbyterian Hospital- Columbia & Cornell Medical Center, he completed Double Fellowships: he subspecialized in cosmetic surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital of The NYU Institute of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery; he further subspecialized in facial sculpting or Craniomaxillofacial Surgery at the University of Miami. Currently, in addition to his private aesthetic practice, he is the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center at Pascack Valley and on the clinical teaching faculty as an Associate Attending in Plastic Surgery at HackensackUMC & at St Luke's -Roosevelt Hospitals, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
