About Dr. Jay Desai
Dr. Desai is a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center, New York. He graduated with Research Honors from Tufts University School of Medicine. He subsequently completed his training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at New York University. He has a strong clinical interest in promoting and improving techniques for colorectal cancer screening. His research interests have focused primarily on improving the performance of endoscopy and in studying the effects of commonly prescribed medication on the gastrointestinal tract. He has published extensively in leading gastroenterology journals as well as presented at national gastroenterology conferences, for which he has been recognized with several research awards
