About Dr. James A Matas
Graduating from the University of Notre Dame with his degree in Mechanical Engineering, his first position was designing pacemakers. After a short time, he realized his true calling was to be a physician. He received his medical degree from the University of Miami Medical School, completed his residency training in general surgery at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and continued with plastic surgery training at Indiana University Medical Center.
