About Dr. Giuseppe Militello

Dr. Militello received his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, where he graduated with honors, and his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was inducted early into the AOA National Medical Honor Society. He completed his dermatology residency at the University of Pennsylvania Health System, where in his last year of residency, he served as chief resident. After residency, Dr. Militello joined the faculty of Columbia University as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Dermatology in the Department of Dermatology. During his time at Columbia, he founded and directed the Occupational Dermatology and Contact Dermatitis Unit. He also taught residents in clinic and directed the Organ Transplant clinic, which specialized in treating skin disease in organ transplant recipients. To further expand his expertise in skin disease, Dr. Militello then completed a dermatopathology fellowship at Johns Hopkins University.
