Dr. Burns received her medical degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honors society and earned awards for her academic achievements. She completed her internship at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, IL and then went on to complete dermatology residency training at Saint Louis University.
