Dr. Spellman is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery since 1997, and has thoroughly trained over 50 podiatrists in the last 25 years. Dr. Dean Spellman is an independent contractor of Family Footcare Group, PC. He has been a contributing partner to one of the largest, most successful ambulatory foot care facilities in the United States, overseeing a team of surgeons certified in arthroscopy and ambulatory foot surgery. Dr. Spellman is on staff at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital, Westchester Square/New York Hospital, and at Surgicare Center in the Bronx. He also performs procedures on a weekly basis at the practice’s main surgical facility in the Upper East Side, which also has a full anesthesiology team and 10 podiatric surgical assistants.
