About Dr. David Dorbad

As your pediatrician, my goal is to help you and your family to care for your child. Besides thorough evaluations with minimal waiting times, I offer direct personal 24/7 coverage to my patients through phone and e-mail. Apple pediatrics is affiliated with Mt. Sinai, St. Luke's-Roosevelt, and Cornell Medical Centers. Dr. Dorbad has practiced pediatrics since 2005. He grew up in Medford, New Jersey and attended college at The University of Virginia, studying Physics. After college, he received his medical degree and residency training from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. After training, Dr. Dorbad spent 8 years in a successful pediatric practice in Chesapeake, Virginia. He now lives in New York City and plans on growing a high quality primary care pediatric practice by joining Apple Pediatrics. Dr. Dorbad has a special interest in preventative medicine. He also has a strong background in pediatric migraine headaches and behavioral medicine. He has devoted a large amount of time building community resources and outreach activities for families in need.
