About Dr. Christina Chu
Dr. Chu graduated from SUNY College of Optometry. She performs comprehensive eye exams including contact lenses fittings, dry eye management and other ocular infections. Her experience working in Woodhull Hospital, allowed her to further diagnose and treat ocular diseases. During her time in optometry school, she also received her Masters in Vision Science with her research on computer vision syndrome (CVS). She has published multiple papers on CVS, done poster presentations at the American Academy Optometry Meeting and meetings for the Association for Vision and Ophthalmology. She also had a presentation about CVS at the American Academy of Optometry Meeting in 2010. Dr. Chu has always been a city person, getting her Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Barnard College, Columbia University. In her free time, just like any city gal, she likes shopping and eating amazing food. She also has trained and completed Disney World’s Dopey Challenge which entails running 4 marathons in 4 days (5K, 10K, Half marathon, and Full marathon).
