About Beryl Filton
Dr. Filton is a licensed clinical psychologist in the State of New York. She completed her undergraduate education at New York University and her Ph.D. at St. John’s University. She has trained at various institutions across New York including North Shore LIJ-Zucker Hillside Hospital, Columbia University Medical Center (Psychology Extern), SUNY Upstate Medical University (Pre-Doctoral Internship), New York Presbyterian Hospital-Westchester Division (Post-Doctoral Fellowship), Bellevue Hospital Center and NYU School of Medicine. She has received specialized training in Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Parent Management Training. She specializes in children, adolescents, and emerging adults, although she has also worked extensively with adults suffering from anxiety and depression. Additionally, she has been credentialed by the National Register of Health Service Psychologists since 2012.
