About Dr. Alaleh Akhavan
Dr. Alaleh Akhavan left an exciting career in journalism to pursue her dream of caring for patients. She attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine as a prestigious Sue Golding Scholar, graduating with Distinction in Research in Dermatology. She was also inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. Realizing her passion for caring for patients of all ages, she completed her internship in pediatrics at the NYU Langone Medical Center before returning to Albert Einstein for her dermatology training.
