Dr. Adeeti Gupta, MD, is a board certified OBGYN in Queens who offers a one-day hysterectomy and is one of the few to offer a similar one day surgical procedure for pelvic prolapse. Her special interest is in dealing with women with urinary incontinence and pelvic prolapse. Very experienced in performing minimally invasive gynecological surgery, Dr. Gupta did a short term advanced clinical uro-gynecology attachment in London. Dr. Gupta has more than 13 years’ experience in obstetrics and gynecology after being trained in the top ranking medical school in India. Dr. Gupta comes from a long line of physicians. Her great grandparents and grandparents were highly respected, reputable doctors in India where her family carried on the tradition by setting high standards and rendering excellent medical care with compassion. Dr. Gupta has also saved many lives, including mothers facing serious pregnancy complications. She has more than 200 patients and has delivered hundreds of babies. After conducting special research in comparative analysis of pain scores, blood loss and hospital stay in open surgery vs. minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery for the removal of uterine fibroids, Dr. Gupta reached the conclusion that the laparoscopic approach is far superior and should always be the preferred approach when feasible.
